Full Moon Mountain Bike Group Ride!
Saturday, December 14th, 8:00pm-9:00pm, Tranquility
It's the Cold Moon full moon this month! Join the Greenstreet Crew for a Full Moon ride on Tranquility's mountain bike trails! Meet in the gravel parking lot by the baseball fields at Kelley Fields (the far north end of the parking lot) for an easy-paced, No-Drop ride.
Helmets and lights are REQUIRED. We recommend having at least one front light with a minimum of 500 lumens. If you are able to have a light on your handlebars and one on your helmet - even better! Please stop into either shop to ask questions about night riding and what lights are good for riding trails in the dark. Bring a filled water bottle and dress for the weather!
Mountain Bike Group Ride!
Thursday, December 19th, 5:00pm-6:00pm, Walnut Creek
Join us for a beginner friendly mountain bike ride on Walnut Creek's singletrack trails!
*As always - we will be watching the weather and trail conditions.
Meet in the parking lot by the trailhead off 96th Street by the playground at 4:50pm to roll out at 5:00pm for an easy-paced ride. We may take time to re-ride fun sections or features you want to learn to ride better! (We are only planning to ride for an hour so we may not get through the entire trail.)
Helmets and Lights are REQUIRED - it'll be dark outside! Bring 1 filled water bottles and get ready to have some fun.
Greenstreet Ladies Gathering
Sunday, December 22nd, 9:00am-10:00am,
Roast Coffeehouse in Aksarben Village
This gathering is for all ladies that like to ride bikes!
Come hang out and get to know other lady riders, talk about what rides or races you are looking forward to in 2025, while we enjoy a coffee, tea or pastry at Roast in Aksarben Village! We'd also love to get some feedback on the group rides we hosted this past year and what kinds of group rides you would like to see the shop put on this coming season.
If it's a little too busy or if there aren't enough seats at Roast we can take our drinks and treats to the Aksarben shop and chat there! We're looking forward to seeing you : )
Fingers Crossed for the First Ride of 2025!!
Sunday, January 5th, 1:00pm-2:00pm, Aksarben Village
We're planning our first ride of 2025!! Fingers crossed that it isn't freezing and there's no ice on the ground - you never know with the weather in Nebraska!
We are beginning and ending the ride at Roast Coffeehouse in Aksarben Village. Let's meet in the parking lot on the north side of Roast at 12:50pm to start our ride at 1:00pm. The route is about 13.5 paved miles, some on paved trail and some on roads. For anyone interested we can head inside afterwards to get a hot tea or coffee after the ride!
Helmets and Lights are required for safety. Bring a filled water bottle.

ABC Bicycle Maintenance
Sunday, January 12th, 5:15pm-6:30pm, Papillion
Are you interested in learning how to care for your bike? Come to our ABC Clinic to learn the basics of bicycle maintenance!
We can show you how to check over your tires, brakes, and shifters, change a tube, and how to take care of your chain. If these checks and adjustments are done and you find that there is still something not quite right when you ride then you'll know to bring your bike to the shop for a checkup.
No bikes necessary. We'll be getting started as the shop closes up for the day. See you there!
Cycling Apparel Clinic #2
Wednesday, January 22nd, 7:15pm-8:30pm, Aksarben
*Hey, Friends! Just a heads up that we are postponing our Apparel Clinic for tonight at Aksarben to January 22nd! We definitely want to share this information (and the discounts!!) with you, but we're going to have to do it in the New Year when there's a little less going on and we can make sure we've got a good group of folks that can be there!
How do I choose the right apparel for different types of weather? What's the difference between tights and bibs? How does having cycling specific clothing give me a better riding experience?
With so many choices of apparel it can be hard to figure out what to wear when we ride our bikes. Having the right equipment is the first step to getting the best experience possible during the time you spend on your bike.
We're going to be talking about the apparel that we carry at our shops and will go over the differences between the types of materials used and the styles for different experiences. We'll also discuss the basics of how to dress for different types of weather from hot summer temps to snowy winter rides.
If you see some gear you'd like to take home after the class, attendees can take 70% off any in-stock apparel before you leave! Discounts are taken off of the original price, not the discounted price if an item is already marked down. Excluding black shorts, bib shorts, and liner shorts.
We look forward to seeing you!
